"Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!"

"A cozy house just south of downtown (just north of the ferry dock). We had the guest suite (downstairs), which had a minor disadvantage of pipes running across the ceiling, but otherwise, it was well soundproofed and got good light from outside. Breakfast was provided each morning and was a mix of berries, fruits, yoghurts, and scrambled eggs. The hosts (and their three dogs) ere wonderful people, very friendly, with a lot of hospitality experience. Would stay again!"

"Das Hotel liegt sehr schön am Eriesee, unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Seeblick nehmen. Mein Zimmer war sehr groß, es gab einen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine. Zusätzlich gab es auf der Etage Wasserspender und eine Kaffe und Teestation, an der man sich jederzeit bedienen konnte. Großer Gratisparkplatz. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel."

"We stayed two nights. Location was very good in a quiet place. Staff were very helpful and the place was clean. Enjoyed the covered pool. We didn’t find our king (or I should say super king) bed was comfortable, it was too soft and saggy!"

"Gorgeous house with 19th century charm! Cozy rooms, comfy beds, and bright common areas. Host was super friendly and kept property clean and well maintained. I’ve stayed here twice and I know I will stay here again."

"We didnt even stay in the room, my girlfriend was so upset about how cold it was in the rooms( the windows had been left open). There was dirt on the floors in the room and the bathroom. She also couldnt get any warm water out of the taps."

"Great location, right in the middle of town. Able to walk to many restaurants. Right next door is Jim's Sub Shop - great breakfast served. Staff at hotel very friendly, knowledgeable about recommendations. Loved the casual vibe of the hotel, including the decor. Lovely to have tea and coffee available all day. Nespresso machines in each room is a plus. Room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Large room, space for 2 armchairs in front of the TV in our room. Parking is public parking...

"the "accessible" room did not have a wheelchair accessible shower. There was a step to access the shower, and it wasn`t possible to reach the shower controls from the bench. I needed to switch to a regular room with a tub. Staff were helpful in resolving the issue, but "accessible" rooms should be verified that they actually are accessible."
