I love the no contact check in with code. I loved the floorplan of the suite. I bring a hotplate to make our meals. This is a perfect room for a beach trip ir extended stay.

Wonderful property! While they are in the middle of renovations, it did not at all interfere with our stay. The room we had was actually way better than some of the high priced locations in the area. Check in was smooth and staff were super helpful. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again if we ever come back!!

Right next to Adventure Golf which was wonderful to just get to walk over to play! The hotel manager was absolutely wonderful and quick to come help when we couldnt figure out how to log in to our TV

Hotel was in construction/remodel,dust was noticeable and the apparence was not closed to what it shows on the pictures. We did not stayed at the hotel we ended up going to a different hotel.

Overall the hotel was nice, clean and spacious. Our toilet did not flush and the hotel did not seemed staffed to accommodate any guests requests. They dropped a plunger off at our door and walked away. It was a good thing we were only there for one night.

The rooms have been redone since last we were here and they look great. We loved not having to carry a key card around, the new coded locks were a plus. We really enjoyed our quick pit stop on our way to Miami and look forward to coming back on our way back home next week.

Love the location, pool was clean although still cold to swim, loved our room and I believe new flooring and big TV. Love the new locks, we hate key cards so it was nice to see that. We'll be back for sure.

It's a great location and price is reasonable. The property is currently being renovated under new ownership after years of neglect apparently. It's quiet (on a Thursday night) and comfortable with a little harbor within walking distance with shops, restaurants, etc. I'd do it again.

We were there for one night. The room was very clean. Although the hotel uses contactless check in, our check in and code came about an hour early. They also provide information about the area restaurants and things to do. Our schedule did not afford us pool time, but pool looked very inviting.

They have no in person check-in so you expect a code to get in the room on the day of arrival. However, in my case, and that was two weeks in a row they did not send the code because I booked the room through Expedia and apparently Expedia did not facilitate the transfer of funds so I had to make a few phone calls before I would get the code. The Internet is great and the room is clean, although the window is facing the corridor, so you have to keep it covered. The garbage container is at the bottom of the stairs, which is an extremely bad idea because during the summer you're gonna have a stench. And the staff does not empty the garbage in the room during your stay. So, it is an OK , affordable hotel with great location for families on a tight budget whatever tight may mean these days.

I had a great stay at Hotel Carolina. The room was recently renovated, very clean, and extremely comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into updating the property. The mid-island location is excellent—very convenient for getting around Hilton Head and close to everything you need. I did have to ask the front desk for a few extra towels, and they were incredibly helpful and quick to assist. Overall, the service was great. The contactless check-in and check-out process was also super easy and convenient, which made the whole stay very smooth. Overall, the room was nice, the location was great, and it felt like an excellent value for the price. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. A++ 👍

When I rented the room through Expedia I was told there was staff at the front desk between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and check in time was 4:00 p.m. On my way to Hilton Head I got a text from 210 area code saying that I had to do an online check-in because nobody was working at the front desk. I received a another text saying to do an online check-in looking for my credit card information too. I was told not to give my credit card information out to third parties. When I arrived at the hotel there was nobody in the office or no staff to be found. I sent texts back to the hotel asking for my room number and entry code and was told I wouldn't receive it until I gave my credit card information out. At this point I felt like I was being held hostage just to check in by giving my credit card to an attachment to a text. It's been my worst experience yet on renting rooms regularly on Expedia. The hotel was also rated as good with an 8 out of 10 rating I would give the hotel no more than a four or five out of 10 as a rating. Very disappointed with my stay there and wanting to make sure there's no miscellaneous charges on my credit card!.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room had nice new floors and new furniture. The bed was very comfortable. The Roku TV worked well. The bathroom and sink area were clean and very nice. I was pleased that the shower had plenty of hot water. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Carolina! I will stay there again the next time I visit Hilton head.
