The staff will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and well cared for. The restaurant was absolutely delicious for dinner and the breakfast buffet had everything you could want and was kept fresh and fully stocked throughout breakfast hours. The biggest surprise was the gorgeous park across the street which looked like a fairytale with swans swimming on the lake and beautiful trails for running or walking. It’s a couple minutes walk along the park from the Hilversum sport park train station to the hotel and you can get straight from the airport to the hotel with no train changes. No need to Uber! 10/10 for location, service, convenience and charm. Loved it. ❤️👏

The hotel offers a large parking lot with free parking. This was a huge plus! Very convenient. The room was rather spacious and especially the bathroom amenities were exceptionally good. It smells rather musty when you enter the room for the first time, but it’s no surprise due to the age of the building. Sound-proofing of the building could be better. But generally, the hotel is well-maintained and offers a high standard.

Nice hotel. Plenty parking availability. Good WIFI. Spacious room and bathroom. Good breakfast. I also recommend the restaurant for dinner. Very friendly staff, both at reception and in restaurant (dinner & breakfast).

PARKRUN TOURIST as a solo traveller, who was pushed for time getting to and from the event at Zonnestraal, I took advantage of the cycle for hire. This was the quickest way to get to and from the event without a car. €18. Breakfast was sufficient. I don't eat much in the evening, so had soup and dessert on Friday. Soup was lovely, but the Panacotta was frozen and has split. Was pretty awful and the texture was all wrong.

Great Location , comfortable.

Great location, walkable from Hilvsrsham Sportpark Station . Direct train from Schiphol. 10 min walk into the centre of town with numerous restuarants and bars. Friendly and hlpful staff.

Nice hotel and amazing and service minded staff all around. Great breakfast. Only bad thing about this hotel is that room 117 was cold - the window didn’t close properly and the bathrooms in both rooms iwere very cold and so was the breakfast room the second morning Would stay here again but only if the weather was better and warmer. Please get some chargers for cars from outside the Netherlands

My experience

Well placed hotel peace ful but close to centre, staff are very Pleasant, nothing too much for you. Room was comfortable but when we split the beds for twin room the floor under the beds was filthy and hadnt been cleaned for months, apart from that the rest was clean and tidy, i would stay again

Disappointing

Cute from the outside, but outdated and musty. Not what you'd be looking for in a 4-star hotel. Carpet is definitely in need of changing. Bathrooms are renovated, but shower heads are crusty; not an appealing shower. Staff is nice and accommodating. Overall, was expecting much better.
