What a treat! We stayed in a room with a view of the water and private onsen. It was so nice we don’t want to explore the island…and a great way to relax after a hike to the summit. Would absolutely recommend!

Perfectly located across the road from the Ferry (no issue with noise). Beautiful traditional tatami hotel. You pay a huge premium for staying on Miyajima and it’s worth every penny. Lovely staff. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but found several lovely places nearby.
