Outstanding historic guest house brimming with antiques and character. Beautiful gardens. Really comfortable bed and lovely shower. Very attentive staff. Would highly recommend as a great place for singles or couples.

It’s a nice place and the rooms were well maintained. I like to stay places with a little history and vibe. I would definitely come again if I am visiting Tasmania in the future.

This property is located just outside the CBD and walkable in around 15-20 minutes if you are able to negotiate some quite steep hills. We stayed in the coach house which is on 2 levels and has 2 double bedrooms and a landing area with a large wardrobe and dresser on the upper floor. Because this particular accommodation was 2 bedrooms and on 2 floors the bathroom is located on the lower level. For me being reasonably mobile this wasn’t too much of a problem but could be a bit tricky for elderly or people with other issues. Downstairs is very cosy and comfortable with a full kitchen, dining area and lounge with a wood burner for chilly evenings. Free parking too. The property is set in beautiful grounds in a historic house. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful and served us up a very hearty breakfast which was lovely. We stayed 3 nights.

We had a wonderful stay! What I was most excited to experience was an Australian colonial period home and this fit the bill. It was in a great location and walked to the harbour for evening meals. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to our day.

We had such an amazing stay And Corinda! The house is absolutely stunning especially the garden and it is a close walk to the Main Street. Thank you to the owners, they were so lovely and accomodating :)

Such a beautiful home, well maintained elegant gardens and grounds in a quiet spot of the city but an easy walk to everything. Room was clean and well equipped with a large comfortable bed. Only wished we stayed a little longer!

A little of attention to detail to make this cottage feel like it still belongs to the 19th century, but full of luxurious like a big spa bath, coffee machine, hidden away tv, super luxurious bed and bedding, reasonably priced drinks in the fridge, and a beautiful spots out front and to the rear to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the quiet surroundings. We'd definitely stay here again!
