"Our family was driving the ring road. Hofn was extremely expensive, this hotel was the most reasonable I found. A pleasant surprise, large room, large bathroom, easy checkin. My only issue no boiler in room but I would stay again."

"Spent two nights at this property. We showed up late in the night, but they had an easy self-check in process. Room was simple and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and warm. Breakfast had the essentials (coffee, tea, breads, spreads, eggs, meats, cheeses). Location was good for visiting Black Diamond Beach and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. There weren't many dinner options around, so make sure to plan that in advance. Area was also dark enough to catch some northern lights. The shower...

"Cute little apartment. Close to food. Offered some yummy oatmeal chocolate cookies. Middle of the night the drain pipe fell off the bathroom sink. Looked quite plugged (yuck). Only sink so was interesting getting ready the next morning. Tried to call office twice with no answer."

"It had a bed, a private bathroom with shower, a shared kitchen and WiFi. Basically a very small bedroom in a three bedroom house. Nice owner. BUT… No TV. No window screens - lots of tiny biting insects. Seemed to collect solar heat. No AC. That’s it."
