"Apparently this property was a Holiday Inn. Now under new ownership, it appears to be still in the process of conversion. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a decent place to stay. Rooms are large and clean as are the bathrooms. Included breakfast is a nice amenity. Staff is friendly and helpful"

"The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...
