"Staff are amazing"

"We arrive a little bit early but good news room was available.drove round the back of the building on your right was staff accommodation well what a sight that is Brocken window frames.windows that looked like they had never been cleaned , right eye sore. luckily we wear not staying in them .our room was just past them basic but showers looked new .coffee and tea and water in room . I have to wear a c -pap mask at night because I have sleep apnea. There is no plug socket any were near the beds...

"Really spacious rooms and great central location"

"The room was lovely,clean and comfortable.The provision of a fan was much needed and made the night bearable in the heat. Breakfast was excellent,food freshly cooked and plentiful and the usual range of cereals, fruit and pastries. Lunch was delicious, again food was tasty but we were a party of 12,a pre- booked celebration , and some of us had almost finished our main course by the time other main courses had arrived and one person had to send their food back to be reheated. "We chose this hotel because it advertised a swimming pool and thought it would be a nice treat for my son and me. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. At check-in, we were kindly offered a complimentary room upgrade, which we appreciated. Sadly, the upgraded room felt more like a downgrade. There was no toilet paper, no iron, the toilet roll holder was broken. Although reception brought toilet paper and an iron when requested, no one was able to repair the broken toilet...

"I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside."
