"discounted upgrade request sent via the hotel and we accepted but when we arrived we were told the upgrade system wasn't working and we quickly dismissed, and told no discounts available. Reception not so customer focused and friendly. Ordered cocktails the bar was empty and took 25 minutes to make !. The hotel is very compact and not much space at breakfast, felt quite claustrophobic. Overall disappointing but it didn't spoil our night away."

"The hotel itself was excellent, and overall the facilities and service were very good. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the adjoining room setup. There was an internal connecting door between our room and the neighbouring room, and the sound insulation was extremely poor. The guests next door were arguing throughout the night, and it genuinely felt as though they were in our room with us. The connecting door was clearly not sealed properly, with visible gaps around the edges allowing both noise and light through. This was particularly disappointing as it was our first night away from our one year old, and we were really hoping to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Sadly, that wasn’t possible. Had it not been for this issue, our stay would have been excellent."

"Good sized room with comfortable bed that is in the heart of the city with easy access to nightlife and L1. However room was like a sauna with only a small fan to cool the room which was insufficient. This caused a broken nights sleep as it was impossible to get comfortable. Also bin in the bathroom was not cleaned after last guest which creates questions on cleanliness. Could not get the wifi to work or use smart TV features."

"My friend and I had a twin room at the rear of the property overnight so we could enjoy a weekend in Llandudno. The room was clean and tidy, the beds were wonderfully comfortable and we both slept really well. The bathroom was clean and the shower easy to use. I gave four stars for a couple of things only because an older property but it was really five stars, we will stay there again and we would recommend it. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too. We didn't pay for breakfast but we did pay for a parking spot at the rear of the property which was cheaper than street parking. We were thrilled with the room and our stay."
