The Liner Hotel

"Lovely hotel and staff were really friendly. Great that you get free parking as well a real bonus. The room itself was clean and a huge tv on the wall. Milk supplied and coffee pods for the machine which was all a nice touch. The issue for us was that it was unbelievably hot. Admittedly we went during a heat wave but it was unbearable. No air conditioning and the window barely opens. Also no extraction fan in the bathroom so it becomes like a sauna. We did have a fan but it just moved around the hot air. I know the hotel cannot help the weather but maybe if investing in the future these things can the considered. We didn’t eat here so cannot comment but the restaurant did look busy so a good sign."

"We were really impressed with our stay here, the staff were lovely and we were allowed to use the facilities before check in. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the food at the bar was really nice. We went in the middle of a heatwave and they had supplied all the rooms with a fan, plus the bar had air con. The pool and jacuzzi were great with not many people there when we went early afternoon. Breakfast was also nice with a good selection of hot and cold foods available."
