"Gare 55 is amazing. It is situated in a renovated train station and the facilities are absolutely top notch. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a kitchen that we were able to use and there are prepared meals available in the freezer. We are looking for a reason to revisit the area as we would love to stay at Gare 55 again."

"Aparthotel Castelnou is a delightful place to stay. The apartment was spacious and spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Staff were so helpful, attentive and friendly, including advice on the best way to walk into the city centre. Dinner was amazing and there is a very pleasant small garden for eating outside. "This hotel is set up like a bed and breakfast, and is in a beautiful historic building that is in a walkable location. There are no staff on site except at breakfast, so communication is restricted to the Expedia message center or the phone number provided by the location inside the front door. There is no elevator (which we knew), so take this into account if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. The positives - Great location and only a few minute walk to Ghent center on mostly flat...
