"The hotel was quite booked up, so we had 2 rooms over a 3-day weekend and our baggage was transferred with no fuss or problems. Both rooms were clean, roomy and contained everything we needed, including a much-needed fan as the weather headed for a heatwave! Breakfast was lovely (we had a full English). "If you’re looking for the cutest true English village this is it!!! Very remote, but fantastic, had a wonderful dinner, and cocktails. The staff, were wonderful, from the young bartender, waiter at dinner, but the women that served breakfast was just the kindness and interesting, l could chat with her for hours. Book this place! "The room was a good size and comfortable. We are there in the evening. Food was cooked well. We enquired what time breakfast was and where we ate. We were told between 9-11am downstairs in bar restaurant. We went downstairs at 9-15 am only to find the place deserted!! Absolutely no one to be found. Apparently our breakfast was a bunch of bananas, some apples, cereal bar and a pot if granola in a small fridge left on the landing. No milk!! On Expedia it stated breakfast was included with photos...
