"The experience of staying on the square in Arcata is so fun but only stay if you go in expecting a lot of noise and partying. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. It's great to walk out to the market on Saturday morning and the 2:00 a.m. noise is a lot but it's a great place to stay."

"This is a nice hotel at a location that is convenient to the State and National Redwood Park and is convenient to beaches and other recreational amenities. We didn't realize that, although the hotel is advertised as being in downtown Klamath, there is actually no town there. The hotel is adjacent to a casino and near a gas station. There is a community center down the road and some other buildings scattered around. The nights we were there, the only restaurant open within 30 miles was the restaurant in the casino, which should avoided if at all possible. The hotel itself seems relatively new. The hotel breakfast was above average. And the staff was competent and helpful. This is a convenient place to stay if you want to spend time in the redwood groves. But you might want to pack some food before you arrive."

"We arrived after 10pm. We were unaware that the unit was on the second floor. There was no porch light to see the touch keys to enter the code for access. The kitchen garbage had not been emptied from the previous guests. Unit was well maintained and clean."
