"The hvac system doesn’t work. We had two mostly sleepless nights because the controls for the room hvac did not work. Heat was cool, cool, was heat, both were random. The room was alternately suffocating lay hot and icy cold. Crazy for a brand new building. Plus, they didn’t charge our car the first night as requested. On the positive side, the gym is excellent and the restaurant is very good."

"Room is huge. Bed and pillows are comfortable. HVAC on the noisy end when kicked in. A little noisy from the traffic on the roads by the riverside. Not enough cloth/towel rack in bathroom. Two shampoo bottles and one conditioner. Left message at front desk to change when housekeeping comes next day and didn’t. Had to call again. The boathouse restaurant breakfast time the staff is very slow and we are in a hurry. The utensils set also have 2 forks and 1 spoon but no knife. Makes sure wonder where the staff’s mind is: consistently to put incorrect redundant items. There is great free shuttle service to Harvard campus and beyond but so under “promoted.” Most people we come to meet who stay at the hotel don’t know so it’s quite under utilized. Overall still great experience but there are areas for improvement. "

"The common areas are inviting and spacious, well maintained also.breakfast offerings were food and kept clean annd orderly. Our room was very nice. We left behind an item after checking out, front desk was very helpful, housekeeping staff that we encountered upon returning to the room (15 min after checkout) was rude and unhelpful."

"Paid for the full price of the stay AND jumped through the ridiculous hoops they imposed on alternative websites (including sending photos of me and my ID + paying an additional security deposit) to be told I would receive "further instructions" on how to check in shortly (time: about 3 PM, check in time: 5 PM). At around 7 PM, still haven't heard anything from anybody. When I call to ask, they tried to blame ME for not "calling earlier" (i.e. they are supposed to review your info and release check in information, they fail to do it and blame you for not reminding them to do their job). But worse than even that, I get a TEXT at 8 PM from them saying the apartment I had booked (2 bedrooms, 2 baths) OVER 6 HOURS AGO was never available at the first place because it was listed despite it being under construction, so they rebooked me into a 1 bedroom with a single king sized bed. By now I know they are neither serious, professional nor likely a legitimate business and begin the process of asking for a full refund and looking for alternative places to stay having wasted 6 hours relying on these scammers. They still tried to refuse to reimburse me by offering another 2-bedroom apt NOWHERE NEAR the original building which was completely unacceptable. When I asked them to provide what they advertised or alternative in the immediate vicinity, they told me to call Expedia to cancel. Long story short, stay away if you know what's good for you."

"All around great hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful location and building. The restaurant on the premises was outstanding, had it multiple times during a 3 day stay. Would happily return next time I'm in the area"

"Clean, quiet and comfortable! We stayed 1 night for the Boston Marathon. Room was ready early and we were upgraded to a Queen room. Room had a great shower and soft towels. Convenient location to subway, shopping (CVS & Target) and good dining options. We liked Bagelsaurus, CSCA Cafe, and Andy’s Diner"
