"This is a pretty standard 3-star hotel that seems to have been recently renovated. Everything looks nice, but after the first night, I was honestly ready to leave.
The sound insulation is so poor that you can hear a constant humming from the AC units in neighboring rooms, even when your own AC is turned off. Maybe I'm just too sensitive to noise, but it was really hard for me to sleep.
The front desk employee tried to be helpful and moved me to another room, but it didn't make much difference.
Then I spoke with the manager, Lilian, and she was absolutely wonderful! She's exactly the right person for this job. She knows how to deal with people and genuinely cares about her guests.
Her attitude was basically, "I'll do everything I can to make you happy, and if I can't, I'll give you a refund."
Believe it or not, that conversation probably helped me sleep better than moving to another room.
Just knowing that someone truly cares about your comfort makes a huge difference.
And honestly, it's because of her, and her alone, that I'm giving this hotel 5 stars across the board."
