My husband and I stayed here on our way to Alberta to pick up our daughter. Like everything in the area, it’s an older property and not without its quirks, but that’s part of the charm. Good location, close to Othello Tunnels.

We needed a place to stay for a few days. Somewhere we could bring our dogs. The bed was cozy and the sheets were clean. The shower was hot and there were plenty of towels. There was a pool. Bonus! Hot tub. Coffee!! just what we needed!

Very pleasant stay above expectations. The pool and sauna are both great and are open 24h . Free coffee and tea 24h also. Very cool staff. Decorations and furniture are outdated but we loved the vibe.

It’s what you’d expect , old but clean. The desk staff kind of just disappear and aren’t available mid evening which was strange and there were no clean, but many dirty, towels by the pool.

Communication was great with keypad and keycards easy to access. Room was not ready for us (beds not made, partially cleaned). Bookings or room allocation was obviously disorganized, as other guests as didn’t have rooms ready at check in. Had to book a motel elsewhere in town at the last minute which cost me another $50. 😢 Motel was apologetic and responded quickly to my request via Expedia for a refund and I am awaiting that transaction.

You will be surprised when you pull up looking for the Rychter and instead find a worn out Travel lodge. The name change must be an attempt to escape the many horrible reviews of the old name. The photos online have clearly been touched up to hide the worn out appearance. Once inside the room was clean, and the beds ok. There were tiny ants crawling around in the bathroom. The building had a stale smoky murk lingering in all common areas. We will certainly never visit again

Location is nice, able to quickly walk to nearby restaurants, or quick drive to places like the silver chalice. The rooms were clean, some furniture damage but only little things on wood. The tv was amazing, it was fairly large and had a roku. Wifi was reliable, no more breakfast, even when we had booked it still said it was included, unfortunate timing. The pool was nice, looks same as the photo, hot tub was a little bit on the scorching side, but may just be a preference. AC and heat was wonderful, worked well and could be easily accessed. No bed bugs after a thorough check, and all furniture seemed clean, however, the floor seemed like it could use a revamp, but is expected for it. Bathroom was nice, little cramped with legs touching the door when you close it. Overall, I think that it was a 7/10.

First and foremost, we were late checking in after 9:30 PM and therefore we were told we could not check in. We were late checking in because we were looking for the Richter hotel and unfortunately, that is not actually the name of this hotel the name of this hotel is actually the Travelodge I’ve stayed in many hotels and this hotel I would consider a no tell motel the beds were sagging and must be from circa 1990. There was actual plants growing out of the windowsill on the inside of the room. The bathtub surround had a huge crack in it. The bathtub was filled with caulking all over approximately an inch thick the bathtub faucets were working however there was holes underneath them that was filled with yet more caulking. The hot tub was nice and warm and so was the pool. I have trusted Hotels.com when looking for accommodations unfortunately I will not be so trusting in the future.

This is an old school motel that shows its age, but some furnishings have been updated and they seem to keep it clean. Had good rest on the beds. There are a mixed bag of patrons, which is okay but something to keep in mind particularly with thin motel walls. Some nice food options walking distance - a brew house that has nice eats and a Korean chicken place. I would suggest that changing out carpets and removing the wall paper for clean fresh paint would go a long ways for this place.

Older property but clean. Didn't smell like some older properties do. Not our first stay. We wouldn't return if we didn't like it. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day on our feet. It isn't too hot so got a nice soak in.

We enjoyed our stay but have some constructive feedback to enhance guest experiences. The pool area is nice but the drains and ceiling fixtures need a good cleaning. Hot tub area is great. Rooms are comfortable and the beds were soft. Our room had an unnecessary recliner chair that just got in the way so it would’ve been nicer without that. The hotel is quiet and pet friendly with our 70 lb dog allowed. We will definitely stay again and recommend you as good value for budget travellers.
