"Staff was great, room was comfortable and clean, view was beautiful."

"We were greeted warmly at reception and upon questioning about restaurants nearby, a few were recommended and we chose one. We were impressed with the room cleanliness. Upon returning for the evening, we sat outside for a while in front of the fire pit, a nice amenity. The breakfast was also superb for its content, and the service person was very attentive. The other staff in the hallways were also cordial. We will return if we're in the area again."

The pool was clean and well taken care off. The breakfast on the deck was really great with a nice variety to choose from and the coffee was nice and hot. "Island View Inn had very nicely appointed rooms, beautiful grounds and pool and nice views of the ocean. The rooms were large and comfortable and we had a nice patio with view of the ocean. The staff were helpful with recommendations for dinner. I appreciated the coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. My only suggestion would be to offer at least a continental breakfast in the lobby, as there were no options to pick up a breakfast nearby. We had to drive into Rockland to find breakfast...
