"Charming historic resort. Beautiful setting and views. Very old but adequately maintained. Nice pool and hot tub. Good breakfast in the restaurant. The locals seem to swarm this place for dinner n the grand porch."

"Our room was clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate with a few hot dishes among the Continental fare. The pool is quite small and only 4 ft deep- just as an FYI, but it still felt nice after a day spent in the heat. The only thing that we did not care for at all was the sliding bathroom door, not a pocket door, just sliding from the top. My husband forgot about the door and leaned his back against it to steady himself, and instead, he fell...

"This was a decent hotel. Clean and close to where we wanted to be be. The elevator was not working on our second day but by the time we returned from our day it was up and running again. Staff was friendly, room was sizeable and beds were comfortable. I wish breakfast was included but overall not a bad stay."

"Both golf courses were nice. We played them both. They were easy to get to and the service was great. All the food was amazing and the staff members are always willing to help. The place is clean and beautiful. Every attention to detail is amazing. There is so much to do and so many activities, we went with adult children and everybody had something they enjoyed. Wonderful resort."
