"We stayed at Marlin Apartments in London, UK for a week, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. Traveling with four kids, we expected at least basic upkeep, but there was no cleaning service provided during our entire stay, which quickly became inconvenient. On the second day, one of the main elevators stopped working and, surprisingly, it was still out of service by the time we left. That left everyone relying on just one elevator, which was a struggle—especially since our stroller could barely fit inside. It made getting in and out of the building frustrating and time-consuming. The only real positive was the location. Being about a 10-minute walk from the center was definitely convenient and made it easier to get around the city. Overall, while the location was great, the lack of maintenance and service made this stay far less comfortable than we had hoped"

"I found the hotel to be in an excellent location i.e. walkable to many attractions. Transportation and eating options are also close by. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The only negative worth mentioning would be the security staff. When returning to the hotel in the early evening, security staff members are inside the doors where they are unfriendly and look at you as something other than valued guests. They alone will cause me to pause before selecting this hotel on a return visit to London."

"Found a bedbug in our room on 5th day of our stay. My wife and I were very upset but the hotel general manager was only interested making excuses rather than comforting us. She also implied that we brought the bedbugs with us. We weren't offered another room as we might spread them but we were welcome to move to another hotel, they told us. This was quite late at night and we wanted our clothes washed before packing so we had to stay that night after getting the bed vacuumed. We were so distraught and disappointed that we decided to pack up and come back home. I highly doubt we will ever go back to London again. We had such a high expectation for this trip. They have only refunded for the nights we have not stayed and pointed out that it was a non-refundable booking as if leaving early was our fault. Unbelievable. "
