"We were so glad we stayed at Papillon Cellars for our trip to the Yosemite area. The location was great -- very close to Mariposa for shopping and restaurants, but also an easy trip into Yosemite from either the route 140 or route 41 entrances. "We spent one night at the 5th Street Inn in Mariposa. The inn is a renovated historic home from all appearances. The bed was comfortable but the table was tiny and the chairs in the room were very hard. Avoid this property if you can't tolerate that or navigate steps up and down. The shower was functional but showed signs of damage to the faucet handle and a bit of mold.
