But still! The pool & hot tub was empty. The ice machine was broken. (3 night stay) We had a room with a hot tub in it, we had to run the water in the hot tub for 5 minutes because it was all rusty. Same with the shower, had to run it for a few minutes to actually get hot water, but it was clear. The bed was very firm. The couch was missing the back two legs. I told the one staffer the next morning that the hot tub water would not stop running. He said since it was a Saturday he'll try to call a plumber. Possibly move me to another hot tub room. Well after we got back from sightseeing he said he was never able to reach anybody and actually the people in the other hot tub room did not check out. So the drip got more to a stream. The top door frame actually hit the door. Sunday I noticed a new staffer, he said that HE just took it over the hotel that day and he will get maintenance to fix it. When we returned from sightseeing it was not done and him, the original staffer, and a maintenance man all had to come into our room. Didn't fix, he said they'll have to break the whole hot tub out and replace it from the bottom. As I checked out Monday I asked for some kind of compensation for the room. He said if I come back it will all be taken care of, I said I would not come back to this hotel. No discount was given. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
