"This place was recommended by one of my friends who had a great experience when she came to the Houston Rodeo couple years ago.
I called in the morning to let the staff knows that we would like to check in earlier than 4pm, the front desk man told me no problem and that he would put it as a request under my reservation. When we first pulled in in the valet, we encountered our first issue with the bell staff. They seemed more concerned about conversations with themselves than helping us with our luggage. Once we got our own cart to put our stuff, it was a bit after 330pm, so I went to the front desk and the guy told me that the room was not ready and that I had to wait until 4pm. Once 4pm happened, I went again to the front desk man, and he told me that I still had to wait for at least 20 minutes since the room was still not ready. After we waited at least 30 minutes, he finally came to check us in. When we went to our room, the power of the fridge, the tv was off, so we called the front desk to let them know. a maintenance man came and had to deal with the breakers, he came by the room and left. after he left the power went off again, we tried to call the front desk without any success. There was no shuttle available and we had to take a Uber. before we left, we told the front desk about our issue with the room. When we came back from the rodeo our power had not been resolved. Had to call 3 times in order for them to bring a maintenance guy to fix it. "
