"This is a small pub with few rooms. The rooms are well appointed and modern, looks like it's been recently renovated. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value and the service was very relaxed and unrushed."

"Warm welcome on arrival, although it says hotel entrance on one side of the building, but by the time you’ve walked all the way through, you’re back in the bar! Only one towel in the room but this was quickly sorted once reported. The room was clean, with plenty of hot water, tea & coffee. The only issues we had in the room (no9) was we couldn’t turn the radiator off, so had to have the windows open and then had a lot of road nose, and someone had jammed the shower on maximum heat. Both were reported to maintenance. We had a great evening in the restaurant, but didn’t have breakfast. "
