"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"The room was comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities, there was also draws and hangers for your clothes, there was parking but i didnt use it cause i came by train the station was near to the hotel 2 mins walk, the breakfast (which i didnt have) seemed ok there was cereals, pan au chocolate, i dont know if there was a cooked breakfast because i needed to catch an early train which was before breakfast started but the lady left me out some pastries for me take which was a nice gesture. "Poor mattresses, one single power point in twin bedroom , sleeps 4 but only 3 drinking mugs & 3 forks, no kitchen knives, no outdoor furniture even though a notice told you to store it, no where to hang wet towels etc, light switch in double bedroom behind door, loose shower bracket, difficult shower controls, advertised patio is inaccurate, it is merely the shared walkway for the estate. The location is wonderful. Overall not worth the price. "
