"I booked the hotel to watch my granddaughter’s All Star team. It was only 7 minutes away from field. Clean and convenient to everything! Loved the mini omelette at breakfast!"

"This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible. The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return."

"1.) Repair needed to toilet seat, 2.) Rust on shower hand rail, 3.) Difficult to log into television to watch a channel and television on the small size 4.) No facial tissue supplied 5.) Continental Breakfast very basic, not much of a food selection. If I could of re-booked I would of stayed somewhere else."

"Virtually everything was in disrepair or broken. Smell of marijuana, and moldy smells all over… Trying to save money prove to be selfish step down… if there were a choice for zero stars, that would be it."

"This is a great little place to stay between KC and STL. Its in a small quiet town with a few places to eat. The hotel has been renovated and my room was clean and comfortable. Support this local business!"

"Warned by two different locals, one being a law enforcement, not to stay here. It wasn’t named correctly. Some sketchy people around the site. We didn’t stay here so I don’t know if it was clean or if the staff were nice. We were advised to go to Warrensburg or Sedalia."

"2 coffepads good. But they charged me more than expedia has listed. Not cool, the price made my decision. Expedia said 56$ but they charged 61$."

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. The ceiling had cracks in it and along the outside wall there was black areas at the top where the ceiling meet the wall. The breakfast was considered continental but was very limited and the coffee was from a dispensing machine. The staff was very kind and helpful."

"Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend."
