The restaurant is rooftop with pool and an amazing view of the beach. The food is fresh and well seasoned and prepared. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"So on arrival we were forced to stay next door to this hotel as its owned by the same owner.
On approach to the room:
- pile of hair with a cotton bud in it
The room
HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED:
- Human hair all over floor
- dirt & dust in glasses (manager started using a dirty tissue to wipe it with - as im sure that would help)
- stains all over sheets & pillows. (Apparently its how they dry them on rusty apparatus)
- human hair on sheets
- bathroom was dirty
- soap dispenser empty
- shower gel...

"Amazing staff, very happy to help and usually with a smile. Staff greeted us by name daily, they noted my son's birthday and gave us a cake and decorated the bed with animals. Overall great experience, quiet island, very peaceful. Good variety of food choices. Our whole family was very pleased with the trip. I've stayed at a number of locations in Mexico, Hawaii, Thailand and Velassaru was by far the best. "
