Lovely old style hotel

A great old hotel, unfortunately the receptionist made me feel like I had come to disturb her day. The rest of the hotel staff were very helpful otherwise. Good hotel, parking ti ha breakfast

Wir fanden Frühstücksraum Frühstück und Personal (besonders eine ältere Dame als Hauptperson ) hervorragend. Wir fanden nicht so gut die Dunkelheit im Eingangsbereich und auf dem Parkplatz wirklich schlecht. Auch unser Zimmer, eine JuniorSuite war zwar von Größe und Aufteilung sehr gut aber auch hier war alles sehr finster und nur mit Sehlampen und Tischleuchten zu erhellen. Auch am Tage war es sehr dunkel weil unmittelbar vor dem wirklich großen und schönen Balkon eine ganz dichte hohe Buschreihe stand.Die hat zwar gut abgeschirmt zu der unmittelbar davor verlaufenden Strasse aber auch am Tage musste man immer das spärliche Licht einschalten. Schließlich hatten wir kein WLAN, was mühsam war weil man immer auf den Parkplatz gehen musste um ins Internet zu kommen. Offensichtlich fehlte einige Router und unsere Suite lag ganz am Ende des Ganges.

Morgenmaden var utrolig kedelig. Allerede kl. 9.00 var pålæg tør og skorpet. Udvalget generelt var meget begrænset, f.eks. en slags yoghurt og kun mælk til cornflakes og havregryn. Det var svært bare at få en kop kaffe serveret om aftenen og fælles arealer hvor ophold var muligt blev låst af ca. 20.30. Vi prøvede at blive låst inde i atriumgården.

Fin gamnel bygning og god morgenmad.

Fin gammel bygning. Der lugtede lidt gammelt også. Hovedpuderne var virkelig gode. Der er ingen produkter på badeværelset udover shampoo. Morgenmaden var virkelig god, stor buffet og kaffen varm. Dejligt rum den blev serveret i.

Dejligt Gymnasium med god plads.

Blev budt velkommen af en venlig receptionist. Dejligt stort værelse med dobbeltseng og god plads. En hyggelig morgenmads restaurant med alt hvad vi havde brug for. En meget flittig morgenmadsdame sørgede godt for os.

Der Styl ist bis in Detail durchgezogen. Es ist völlig anders als alle anderen Hotels. Man muss so etwas mögen. Sauberkeit und das Personal ist top!!!!!! Das Schwimmbad richtig gut!

Okay - but dated

Everything in the hotel is okay. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The common areas look good. But it is all quite dated. The rooms was very basic, bed seemed to be missing a frame. The gym is very well equipped, but also quite dated, seems to be from the 80’s. But it works! The hotel is very quiet and it almost closes down at night. Breakfast is really fine and plenty to choose from.

Das Hotelpersonal war zu jedem Zeitpunkt optimal uns zu verwöhnen und zur Hilfe zu sein. Das Essen am Frühstückbüffet war reichhaltig in Menge und Auswahl. Die Betten waren super. Die Sauberkeit ohne Fehl und Tadel. Das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant köstlich, zumindest die Ochsenschulter mit 48 Stunden Garzeit. Das Hotel ist überdekoriert, auf den Gängen stehen teilweise alte, abgestoßene und altmodische Möbel, insgesamt wirkt alles etwas bieder und muffig, das ist schade, weil das Haus und das Personal viel Potential haben. Der Kraftraum war super ausgestattet und sauber, gleiches galt für Sauna, Umkleiden und das Schwimmbad. Letzteres ist wunderschön in der Anlegung, jedoch fehlen inzwischen viele von den Mosaikfliesen, das wirkt nicht gut. Die Massagemöglichkeiten des Beckens funktioieren kaum noch, nur 2 von mehreren. Man könnte diese einfach entfernen und die Bedienelement mit Fliesen überdecken. das Becken an sich ist schön genug, tolle Wassertemperatur zum chillen und schwimmen, sofern man nicht auf Leistung schwimmen möchte ;-), Das Becken ist sehr groß. Insgesamt braucht das ganze Haus eine Auffrischung des Mobiliars und der Wände. Die Seidentapeten lösen sich an vielen Stellen, das sieht nicht gut aus, es sind große Flecken an den Seidenwänden. Bei den vielen Bildern, die aufgehängt sind, wundert es, warum die Bilder nicht einfach über die Flecken gehängt wurden. Ein schönes antikes Haus, das in die Jahre gekommen ist, es fehlt frischer Wind.

Ein paar funktionale Einschränkungen ( z. B. nicht funktionierende Lifts , früher Rezeptionsschluss ) , dafür stilvoll , grosszügig und sehr schön ruhig ( auch besonders kein Verkehrslärm ! ) in der Nebensaison . Nah zum Hafen , Einkaufsgegend und Bahnhof , wirklich eine gute Lage .
