We chose Stone Gate Inn because it wasn't a national chain and it had an 8.4 review average. We prefer to support small businesses. I don't know how long the current Stone Gate owners have had the property, and they're clearly working on it, but they really need to be transparent in how they market the facility in their online presence. "The staff was helpful and nice and stay was good overall For the management there, the chair in the room where the bunk bed was, was ripped and stained but functional and the Queen bed in our room was a double but they told us it was a queen , we have a queen at home and that was definitely a double bed I think some of the furniture was dated and should be replaced to make guests feel more comfortable in the room"

"Judi breakfast lady on Saturday and Sunday stood out. Despite being busy she gladly washed my Yetti cup for me with a smile every morning of our stay. Great service. Judi never stops where do you find such great staff."

Nice room that was well equipped and clean. Friendly staff. The pool and exercise room were a little small but a nice bonus and welcomed addition. "My husband and I have stayed at this resort a number of times and usually have no issues. However this time I had bad experience. I used the hot tub on the first day we were there for less than a hour and by the next day my bathing suit went from black to brown. I told the receptionist and she just shrugged her shoulders. Disappointed in this response."
