"This is our fifth stay at this motel. it is family run and like the motels of years ago very traditional in its layout. There’s always a friendly greeting and suggestions as to what to do in the Steamboat Springs area. We just simply find the places to be welcoming and friendly. The rooms are always clean with plenty of hot water. Every time we’ve stayed here the motel is full by mid evening. It is important you have reservations."

The Overnight Desk Clerk was Extremely Undesirable, went to the desk around 12:30am to get a snack and found him sleeping at the desk. i was not the only guest who needed something, there were 2 others there and he never woke up or acknowledged anyone standing there. His Name started with a T I'm pretty sure. "

"We booked this cabin last minute and overall very happy with the stay. Services on the property ensure you would not have to leave. Dining is higher on the pay scale but quality matched the price. We stayed in the E2 cabin which was conjoined with another. They are smaller but adequate for two people and very clean. Grand Lake itself is a gem and we plan to return."
