Great location near the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River and Reykjaböð Hot Springs. Close to the freeway yet quiet. Very helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast, cafe, shop, and food hall conveniently located downstairs.

Loved our stay here. Clean and posh. Two free tickets to the town pool/sauna/hot tub were included with our room and there was a nice free breakfast. Score! Staff was pleasant. The lounge area downstairs is really cool and we enjoyed happy hour and the different restaurants downstairs. Fish and chips were soooo good. Would absolutely stay again!

Very nice staff and awesome design of the rooms and lobby. A lot of personality in the hotel space unlike some of the other more stark hotels in Iceland. Could use some basic tlc as the hotel has seen some wear.

The Greenhouse met and exceeded my expectations. The place has a lively vibe, enhanced by the food court right on the premises. Late night happy hour on the weekends. Nice outdoor balcony, with couches, at the end of the hallway. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Great location for visiting the Golden Circle. The accommodations were good; the rooms small-ish like all the others in Iceland, but with everything you need. One suggestion I'd offer: could use some reading lights by the beds. In all other respects, I would unhesitatingly stay here again if visiting Iceland, and would recommend it to any of my friends who are going.

Wonderful stay with no issues. We walked all around the area and found it to be very nice. There is a food court where you can purchase a wide variety of items. The breakfast was really good and the staff was really great.

Staff were helpful--went out of their way to help me find a pair of glasses. The greenhouse theme makes the place unique with a cozy feel, and the on-site food options as well as the 24/7 store is a superb perk not to be taken for granted in Iceland! Only complaints are a couple of old stains on the bedsheets (minor), and the blackout curtains don't really block the bottom of the window well--however, the easy workaround is to just set the couch cushions up against that area. There is some background sound from the street, but nobody honks horns in Iceland, so this is just white noise, and didn't bother us at all. I would certainly stay again, particularly because of the on-site eating options (saves lots of time!) and strategic location to popular spots (both within the town and beyond).

The property is easy to find. Great location. Rooms are roomy and very clean, beds are incredibly comforable. The breakfast is delicious! (Coffee wasn't the best) Lots of delicious options to eat at the bar. All the staff are very friendly.

I am a photographer who travels the world endlessly, and this was my 20th trip to Iceland. This was my 1st time at the Greenhouse, and unfortunately it was my last. I really wanted to like this hotel. It’s new, with a modern/industrial look. Check-in was good, the room clean, and the included breakfast was good. So what was wrong? If you value sleep before 1:00 am, this is not your hotel. I stayed for 7 days, and you could easily hear others walking above you in your room, until they went to sleep. On Friday and Saturday night, the onsite bar/restaurant spilled outside with very loud music and commotion until after 1:00am. Add to this, teenagers riding scooters and screaming at the top of their lungs until after midnight. The rooms are very warm, so with the window open, the noise is unbearable. There are other, smaller hotels in the immediate vicinity that are very quiet, and also slightly cheaper.
