"Very little to like. The electrical power went off, the hotel was not able to fix the power outrage because they did not have a back up generator. Expedia customer service was poor at best and kept me on the phone close to two hours to solve the problem."

"I honestly wasn't expecting much from the property. Boy was I surprised. For a pet friendly hotel, it is SOOOO clean. The staff could not have been more attentive. The breakfast was wonderful. I actually told my husband, as we left the parking lot to go home, "I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to New Paltz. Thank you for such a great stay.""

"Worst hotel experience ever. All the AC's were shut down due to a storm. Nightmare of a night. No air because the windows were locked (with nails), would've been too hot anyways. No fans, no help, and no clue if anyone's doing anything. Probably 90 degrees in the room all night, just ridiculous. When I left at 11am nothing was done still and front desk didn't know anything. Worst night I couldn't sleep at all. I travel a lot, that was the worst breakfast I ever had (talking about the 1st...

"Honestly this was probably the first time when my husband and I didn’t stay the full length of our trip (2 days) and checked out after one night. It was very disappointing. Firstly, I believe we were the only ones at the hotel. We did not see any other people except some of the workers. There is no one at the front desk 85% of the time. There is a number to call if you need assistance but that’s about it. The breakfast and the lady serving breakfast was very sweet and breakfast was very good....

"Unique place to stay. We had the smallest room I think I’ve ever stayed in with one chair and a window air conditioner. But it’s old so it is what it is. Loved the tavern in the evening. Friendly kind staff throughout ! Convenient location to everything! Breakfast was served down the block which wasn’t convenient and it was just ok. Don’t think I’ll stay here again but I’m glad I had the experience."
