Lovely stay
I stayed here to be closer to work- the room was very clean and so nice! The host had put some breakfast cereal, biscuits and milk in the room which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent value.
Reception nice & helpful, room was clean, light & warm, nicely decorated with fridge & microwave.Local, countryside & woodland walks for dogs.

Stay was OK, the owners were pleasant and welcoming and although the lodge is 'room only' they do provided a breakfast basket with water, fruit and cereal. The lodge was clean and sufficient for an overnight stay.

Hi Sue Thank you for your review. We are disappointed that you only found our service Okay. Perhaps you could let us know on your return next week what it is we can do to improve. We find the majority of customers are very happy with our rooms and facilities and believe they get value for money. As a small family run accommodation provider we understand we are not right for everyone but do value clarification when someone feels we have not met the mark for them.

Second stay
Always have a fantastic stay here really friendly owner, so accommodating for us and our dogs it’s our second year here and have already booked up for next year. We always stay for 2 nights for Crufts it’s a perfect location for us.

Peaceful rural accommodation
Motel-style accommodation in quiet rural area. Really comfortable and clean with very friendly management. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely quiet country atmosphere. Great room.
Great room. Country atmosphere. Friendly and helpful host who made us feel at home. Excellent secure room for car parking. At breakfast had a great chat learning about the U.K. with host and some regular guests. Highly recommended.

Cheap and friendly place to stay.
Pinewood Lodge is an excellent low budget pace to stay. Really enjoyed the room which had a fridge and microwave, perfect for working away.

A wonderful walk-in lodge!
An out the way stay, with private self catering rooms and plenty of charm. The campsite and motel style accommodation strike both a contrast and a convenience in the Ibstock countryside, walkable to the High street and its single street of sufficiency; a recommended stay for long term commuters working away from home, single explorers interested in Ibstock and last minute walk-in lodgers. Internet is available in the reception but not the rooms (without extension). There is plenty of parking and both Angela and Roy are accommodating hosts for some fun banter in the bar!

Our two night stay at Pinewood Lodge.
My Wife & I arrived around 3.30 at Pinewood, we were immediately struck by the surrounding trees & the small lake. On entering our room, we found it spacious & comfortable & everything was clean & tidy. The facilities were more than adequate, with tea, coffee, milk & sugar! Electric kettle, microwave & small fridge. The room had en-suite which contained a nice shower cubicle, wash basin & toilet & towels were provided. The bed was comfortable & the heating via a large radiator proved more than adequate. My Wife & I would not hesitate to return to Pinewood. John & Katy Wright.

Good morning Mr & Mrs Wright. Thank you very much for your kind and comprehensive review. I am glad that you were comfortable during your stay. With regards to the sliding door, I am in the process of changing these as I upgrade my rooms. The toilet, as in all of our rooms, is a normal toilet so I am unsure as to why you would have found it a little low. That being said, it seems all in all you were happy with your stay which makes us happy too!. We hope your visit to family was enjoyable and hope to see you in the future. All the best, Angela
