We stayed in the Superior Water Villa with pool with sunset facing view. Good length pool, however in the room the facilities and interior are a bit dated but everything worked and was clean. Each room had use of their own bikes so you could cycle around the island but you also had a buggy service on request as well. Our on call personal assistant Fayaz was very helpful whenever we needed any assistance which made our whole stay even more special. The resort is all inclusive with enough restaurants and a nice selection of foods and wines for a nice international experience. Whilst it isn’t the cheapest being all inclusive the place was not crowded, however you do need to hop on a 45mins seaplane to get here which is another cost on top. The general service and attitude of all the staff working there were great leaving us with an enjoyable lasting memory.

Rooms were 4 star quality and not 5 star Location was great and ocean front villas are great. Food quality was 3/10 and I tried every property on site. Fact that the resort is so far and I paid hefty price to get there from male (45min sea plane ride), it just felt underwhelming for the amount of money they charge. Certainly not a 5 star level resort. I would say it’s a good 4 star resort

We just returned from our first trip to the Maldives – and Emerald Faarufushi was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. Despite a flight delay and an unexpected overnight stay in Malé, the Emerald team stepped in immediately: they replied to our email within minutes and even sent someone to meet us at the airport late at night. We felt truly looked after from the start. Arriving on the island, we were absolutely blown away. It’s stunning – peaceful, pristine, and beautifully maintained. The gardens are cared for all day by kind staff, and the island smells of flowers. A true tropical dream. Our villa was spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping by Wayan was excellent. The beach and crystal-clear ocean were simply breathtaking. We also treated ourselves to a massage at the spa – pure bliss. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff’s warmth and dedication. Our host Aslaan was always available via WhatsApp – kind, thoughtful, and full of surprises: from a dolphin tour to a romantic flower bath. When I injured my foot, he picked us up within minutes and arranged a doctor right away. This level of care was present everywhere – in the restaurants, bars, spa, and beyond. Everyone we met was genuinely welcoming and professional. This trip was a dream come true, and thanks to Emerald Faarufushi, it became reality. Truly paradise on earth. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Heaven on Earth

We already had extremely high expectations both of the Maldives and Faarafushi but OH MY GOODNESS did Faarafushi exceed those expectations! It is truly heaven on earth. The rooms are divine, the sea life is out of this world, the food is delectable, the cocktails and wine selection are to die for, the spa is bliss, but the staff is what makes this place even more special than you can imagine! Such kind and friendly people! Sundar and Ankur are both fantastic cocktail makers and kind and funny people. Sundar made us the most special cocktails and led a wonderful cocktail class and Ankur led a super interesting molecular mixology class, neither of which you should miss! Vishal gave “turn down service” a whole new meaning with his incredible decorations, and also treated us to birthday decorations for my husband’s birthday and honeymoon decorations. True works of art! We don’t know our masseurs name unfortunately but we had the best Balinese couples massage of our lives! Priyanka was our waitress a couple of nights and was just the sweetest and most attentive waitress one could imagine! We also loved Mohammed and Rohit who told us a lot about the Maldives and Rohit helped us plan our trip to Agra (where we were off to next). And finally our INCREDIBLE host Fayaz who was simply amazing! Organised everything to perfection, always checked in on us and made sure we were happy with everything and just made the whole experience perfection. Run don’t walk to this resort! It is HEAVEN!

We had expected the breath taking physical beauty of the island, but were really amazed by the caring and professional staff throughout our stay: from the transfer assistant at arrival in Male, to the villa host who organized our meals and excursions, to the culinary director overseeing the meal preparation at the 6 restaurants, to the bar tenders, servers, and cleaners. Our villa on the beach was spacious and comfortable but not extravagant. The food and alcoholic offerings were at premium level. There was live music and trivia nights. Our package included a dolphin tour (we saw 5 of them about 30 minutes away from the island) and a photo session. The resort has its own app with all the necessary information for your stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the resort.

O resort é excepcional em TUDO! O quarto é limpo, luxuoso é muito confortável. Fui atendida super bem por todos os funcionários, que inclusive fizeram todos as reservas dos restaurantes e passeios para mim. Eu amei a experiência de andar pelo resort com as bicicletas que são gratuitas.

O resort é muito bem cuidado, sofisticado e tem tudo de primeira linha! O serviço é extraordinário, tem várias opções gastronômicas (Amei o restaurante Mediterrâneo) e a ilha é paradisíaca. Ter as bicicletas à disposição dos hóspedes faz toda a diferença e traz uma sensação de liberdade. Se mudar alguma coisa nesse resort estraga 😍. We had such a memorable honeymoon at this stunning resort, full of extremely kind staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. My wife lost her wedding ring one evening and the entire resort staff - from our main host, Kunal, to the room maintenance team and the security manager - went out of their way to help us find the ring, and to our utmost surprise and happiness, the staff actually succeeded in finding the ring the next day. We cannot recommend with any more enthusiasm this fabulous resort, for its extremely nice room, restaurants, activities, and most of all the kindest staff I’ve ever met. We extend our sincere appreciation to our main host Kunal, the security manager Anwar, our room maintenance host Imaad, and the restaurant staffs including Nuwan and Vicky. When we visit Maldives again in the future, we would definitely stay at Emerald Faarufushi again and we have already recommend this resort to all of our friends who are considering vacation to Maldives. 100/100 stunning experience, period.

We chose a beach villa over an overwater villa for its seclusion among lush palm trees and private sunbeds. The villa was elegantly furnished, exuding charm, and was impeccably clean. The resort's restaurants met the high standards expected of a five-star establishment. The food and beverages were good for an all-inclusive resort, but the friendly and attentive service from the staff made dining exceptional. The view from the over-water Eclipse bar was breathtaking, and the mixologists crafted exquisite cocktails. The Balinese spa offered a comprehensive range of treatments that fully met our expectations. The gym equipment was well-maintained, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was often empty, providing a comfortable workout environment. The white sand beach was stunning, teeming with marine life, and free of algae or seaweed, making it entirely odour-free. Despite being fully booked, the resort never felt crowded, and the beach in front of our villa was mostly deserted. The infrastructure met the expectations of a five-star resort, but it was the staff who elevated the experience. Every staff member was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and their warmth felt genuine. The positive attitude of the personnel reflected a culture of respect and friendliness. Special thanks to: Our villa host Nabeel, Sager, Suda, Chefs Feri, Alan, and Pedipa, Ori, Subash, Aalim, Ammy, Joseph, Bona, and Heather, Kiki, Mita, Feri, the tennis coach, Mata, and Visal, the mixologist.

We just returned from the most AMAZING honeymoon at Emerald Faarufushi! I researched resorts for months and I am so glad I chose Emerald. Service: The service at this resort is truly 5-star! From the moment we left baggage claim at the Male airport, we were greeted and catered to every moment of our trip. I can honestly say, every single employee we interacted with provided the best service I’ve experienced in my life. When we arrived at the resort, we were introduced to our villa host, Nabeel, who graciously catered to our every need and desire throughout the trip. He set us up with WhatsApp messaging so we could contact him night or day for anything we needed. He had our dining reservations planned out before we even arrived and each one worked out perfectly for our stay. On our last day, we requested a late check-out and Nabeel coordinated getting us a beach villa to use for the day since our room needed to be vacated for the next guests. Nabeel was so amazing we felt like he would do anything within his power to ensure we had the best vacation/honeymoon ever. The food and drink were also top-notch and all included in the price. The quality was incredible and there aren’t up charges everywhere like I saw at other resorts. They really take pride in the quality of their food and beverages and the head chef was always making his rounds to interact with the guests. Finally, the rooms are amazing. Modern, clean, and luxurious. I would definitely return in the future!
