"We had such an amazing experience at Posada el Quijote. Prior to arrival, Fernando helped us secure a great deal on a car rental with a company that was conveniently able to do pickup/drop-off at the hotel for no extra charge. The property is a beautiful old private home that has been converted to a boutique hotel with tons of character. The Censes restaurant left lots to be desired and the logistical mishaps of the front desk charging and lost and found procedure was a bit exhausting…. Hope to try it again one day but maybe after they worked all the kinks out. "

"Upon arrival we were already concerned about the surrounding area which I will say is very sketchy and neither one of us felt safe outside the hotel. The hotel is surrounding by iron gates and razor wire. The free parking is located across the street and just a little way down the street. The security gate is opened from the hotel. It is a dirt / rock / and broken tile lot with many holes to navigate around. When you’re done parking you have to negotiate your way across a large roadway back...
