In other hotels where we have stayed, the property maintained a dozen or more bikes that were available first come first served to patrons at no cost. We missed that at Henrik’s. "The stay blew away our expectations. We got a suite instead of a single room. The staff were probably the friendliest people in Copenhagen. The views of the canal out the window, the details paid to everything (the hidden fridge), the great water pressure. It's been years, maybe decades since a hotel impressed me as much as our stay at the Kanalhuset did."

"This is in a good location close to the center of Copenhagen. We had a wonderful corner room with wide vistas. There are two NCH's in town, so make sure you go to the one you booked. My only quibble, is the lobby floor restaurant was a little nickel and dimey: they charge for bread and no tap water. They are not unusual with this as these limitations are common with many European hotels. Still, if you're spending $150 on a meal, a slice of bread or two seems like an easy way to elevate your...

"It is good location. Staff is very friendly. We had some challenges checking in as we were not able to open the link sent by the apt hotel. Take long time to work with Expedia and the hotel staff. The hotel’s pillow and blankets have some smells, not from the cover sheet, it is from the insert inside…. It is a little disappointment for us. We paid $400+ per night, I would expect a clean bed without other people’s sweat smell…"
