This hotel property appears to be undergoing some refurbishment but unless it is going to install air conditioning, during hot weather it will not make the best of its superb position close to the centre of town"

"England and Great Britain have manor houses and castles galore that have been turned over to hotels. We have stayed at many. None come close to the care taken and beauty of the grounds and gardens. Awesome. Unparalleled. Unequalled."

"The staff was pretty pleasant when we arrived. The check-in was quick. I think the only issue that I really had is that one they don’t offer face towels. To wash your face. There was no refrigerator in the rooms and we had a special-needs child, nonverbal and we needed a refrigerator in the room. We had to utilize ice back to keep his food cold. It was a quick stay."

"Avoid! Club Quarters Hotel Covent Garden / Holborn. We had no advance notice there would be disruptive work on the hotel and found the lobby was half closed for various work in rooms and the floors. I asked if the drilling or hammering would stop on Saturday and Sunday. We were assured by the man on the front desk that was the case. But the noise started at from 8:30am on Saturday. The walls are paper thin, anyway, and you can hear your neighbour quite easily. in fact, the room was just weird....

"We stayed here before our flight. The staff was extremely helpful and gave tips on which bus route was best. My kids loved that they had their own bunk beds rather than sharing a bed! Also the restaurant right down the street had wonderful wood fired pizza."

"I loved the relaxed vibe, the friendly staff and the location right on the beach. It’s a bit retro, but in all the good ways. It was just lacking a seafront pool and a shower for the thermal spa. Fantastic food."

"We were in Southampton on one of the hottest days of the year. The hotel is not air conditioned. A small fan was provided, but it was an unbearably uncomfortable night and neither of us were able to sleep. I have stayed at the Novotel numerous times over the past two decades and the hotel is increasingly dated and tired, especially the bathrooms. Considering increasingly hot summers, the owners of the hotel should invest in Air Conditioning."

"Excellent accomadation!. Excellent food! Excellent staff! Paul,the ownwer and his top notch staff were very accomadating and went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of during our stay. Traditional pub and Inn in a great location in walking distance to Cantebury's attractions. Highly recommended."
