"What a neat little hotel. It is a little older however they have gone above and beyond with adding the extras in the rooms then many hotels ie. on pillowcases it is embroidered what the pillow rates soft firm etc. what a nice little touch. Great location and lots of parking. Rates reasonable as well."

"The shower was terrible and one of the shower heads was broken. Some of the outlets had no power. Lots of dust around the room and the AC was not cleaned. Staff were nice and the bed was super comfy, however the towels were very rough. Overall it is decent for the price but I will probably pay for a nicer hotel next time."

"We stayed at the resort for two nights as a surprise gift to my wife on her 65th birthday. I choose a superior room with a hot tub on the balcony. The suite was well appointed and lovely by design. The spa was first-rate. Expedia gave us a food credit for dining, which leads me to our major disappointment with the Brentwood Bay Resort. In all of its marketing materials, the resort claims to be world-class. However, for both of our nights the fine dining room was closed for dinner. What? We only...

"The staff was superb-helpful and cheerful; the room was lovely-just as shown on-line; the location was perfect-close enough to everything so we could walk. We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner-delicious food either terrific service. We look forward to a return stay."

"Staff and cleanliness were fantastic. They actually had a nice place to get water coffee tea and treats at all times which was so lovely. Also had a lounge to have Sherry with other guests from 5-7. Locations was great little extras they supplied was appreciated. Nice stay. The only thing I would say is you can hear other guests although everyone was respectful. "Hosts were incredibly friendly, warm and receptive. Their dogs (hypoallergic poodles) were the cutest to play with and well-behaved. The room itself (Library Room) is cozy and rustic with more than enough things we needed. Some items like toothpaste are lacking but I'm sure that if you ask the hosts, you'll be able to get one anyway. Overall, the experience was incredible and I would recommend this place to everyone! "This place is clean and the staff was very friendly. It was.a great location for us. 20 minutes to Victoria and 30 minutes to Sydney and Butchart Gardens. The food was good. The bar was OK. The TV stations were very limited. Hot tub and pool were great. The steam sauna would not stay hot."
