"This resort was amazing. The rooms were clean, overlooking the beach, the restaurants and bar were great, with a friendly attentive staff and awesome food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bring water shoes to go in the water. Amazing sunsets from everywhere on the property. Can't wait to return!"

"Very disappointed in our stay at Eliseo Palace. We had booked 2 Luxury Rooms, which are described as having a balcony on the hotel’s website. The rooms are supposed to be larger and more spacious, again as described on the hotel’s website. Neither room had a balcony. In fact, our room had a queen bed and a twin bed. When I spoke to the woman that checked us in, she told me that not all luxury rooms have a balcony. I showed her the hotel description of a luxury room on the hotel’s website...

We walk everywhere, so we found that the location (while not right in town) was fairly easy to walk into town or to the beach, and it was quiet at night. For meals, there were a lot of markets and restaurants nearby and the hotel had an excellent breakfast.
