"This is an historic hotel. It has been freshly restored. The rooms are small but comfortable. Ours was above the bar facing the street which was very noisy. They even give out earplugs at check in. Overall we had a good time and the staff was helpful."

"This hotel is CLEAN, comfortable bed, good shower, and quiet. Much needed stay overnight before our trip home to the east coast the next morning. Hotel is within walking chance of restaurants and airport. Easily walked from and to airport, as well as lunch and coffee place. I travel a lot and rarely stay in hotels because I always end up paying a ton of money for musty wet carpet and an uncomfortable bed or cold shower. Not this place, it’s in order and very well maintained. AND the price is much better than some of the hotel that are just ripping you off simply because it’s Alaska. There is laundry on site as well as vending machines which was nice."
