"Everything was perfect! Snowed a day before we arrived and it snowed our last day there. It was beautiful to watch from our igloo. We saw the northern lights first night we were there and they were so worth the trip!"

Great cabins and wonderful stay. We stayed in one of the cabins without a full kitchenette but yoi can use the facilities in the main cabin including washing machine and dryer (for a small fee), cooker, bbq. The managers have a campfire each night and yo cam sit around and chat and eat s'mores or you can relax on the deck of your cabin.

The cabins were excellent. Homely, high spec, detached with parking out front. Mike the Owner would have picked us up from the train station if we’d asked and dropped us there once leaving, although it was only a 9 minute walk.
The cabin had heating, a ceiling fan, two large double beds, a kitchenette and great shower in the bathroom. There was a rocking chair plus table & 2 chairs in the room too. Nice fluffy towels and shampoo/conditioner. If we ever decided to go to Talkeetna again, we’d...

We loved this log cabin. It's in a very quiet setting, which is a real plus point for us. The interior is cozy and very much in keeping with a cabin in the woods. The wood burning stove was an unusual source of heating for us Brits but we mastered it. It's super effective, but as others have mentioned, you can't really control the heat output that much.
The breakfast provided in the room was very good. The home made crepes and the jams were delicious. So pleased we stayed there.

A comfortable overnight stay, not being overly bothered by the road or bar noise. Reception was staffed by calling the desk manager from the front desk. A quit casual approach but it works and my room access and drop off to the airport ferry were well managed.
