"I really enjoyed our stay here. The lobby was really cute and welcoming. The staff were really inviting and friendly, rooms and building were clean. I think the only thing is that I wish the rooms had a mini fridge in them for the price point as it is pretty comparable with the other bigger hotels in the area. I really have no complaints otherwise, I was really happy with our stay."

I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. "Let me start with check-in. I obviously went in the wrong door. The one I thought would be the office as it was on the front (street-facing) side. After wandering around for a bit (no signs, of course), I found the desk. I stood quietly at the desk for a bit when the man behind the desk "greeted" me with, "What do you want?" It wound up that the very nice lady who was in charge had her son working for her. It was he who couldn't be bothered to help. Not a great first impression. The room...

"We like everything about this property! We travel extensively and I really believe this host offered the “little” details possible. A small candy dish, a booklet full of local information, soft towels, make up towels, nice shower heads, coffee products, etc…. We enjoyed the balcony, recliners and soft bed. Nearby float planes coming and going did make noise that could bother some, but we know those sounds are the price of adventure for others, overall this is a great place to stay!"

"It's a beautiful cabin, either new or just updated. It only had 1 bed and an uncomfortable pullout couch, which i didn't find 100% clear in the listing. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain. The best part was the location, being right by the lake. We sat by the water and watched at least 25 planes take off and land! They provide ear plugs and sleep masks which are required because the door doesn't have a curtain to block the light."
