This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Fairbanks. it has its own restaurant and breakfast bar. The gift shop was closed for construction when we were there. Staff were nice. Room has a fridge but no microvave although there is a common microwave for all guests which was very convenient. There’s also laundry services. Rooms were clean. We will definitely stay here when we visit Fairbanks again.

Housekeeping was in the room after we checked in for our stay. Despite this, our room wasn't clean (toilet hadn't been cleaned, nail clippings on the dresser), and housekeeping was consistently poor throughout our visit. There was so much dust on the pictures in the hallway guests were playing tic-tac-toe on them. The hotel restaurant is overpriced and the food was bad. We wouldn't stay here again.

Room was very warm and the thermostat was already set at the lowest setting. I had paid for the breakfast option and when I asked about breakfast they stated they were out of vouchers. They told me to come back to the desk in the morning. When I went to the desk at 6:30 am the next morning, the staff said they would be out of vouchers until after the manager showed up at about 7:30 am. I needed to be at work by 7:30 am. Eventually they gave me an old voucher, which did allow me to get breakfast.

Staffs here are OK but poorly managed. My room wasn't ready for check in time. After my check in, I found that the room was missing refrigerator. Previous guest's (?) hairs in shower, sink and bathroom floor... ... Nothing devastating but poorly managed.

Pagamos por el desayuno, y a pesar que en otras ocasiones nos hemos hospedado allí y el desayuno ha estado muy bueno cada vez más la calidad y el servicio es es diferente y empobrecida , casi no había nada, no había opciones, cabe recalcar que el desayuno en este lugar no es gratis, se paga la cuota que el hotel indica y en dado caso se desearía encontrar algo un poco más decente

Maybe because one side of the hotel is being remodeled, the south tower was seriously neglected, but services could definitely use some improvement. We went three days without getting our room serviced—no towels, trash not thrown out; and the other days we had to ask to have our towels changed…which she just handed over. Not one single day did the room get cleaned. The back door that provides access to the parking worked 8/10 times. Making you walk around to the front entrance of the hotel…unfortunately for us, it’s -15 degrees. The hotel does have a pretty good restaurant. The front desk staff was good.

The staff is nice and the building itself is fine, but this stay has been disappointing in multiple ways. There's no information in the rooms or the front desk about the hotel or the restaurants. When I asked for information they said I had to contact the restaurant directly, but the coffee shop which was listed as open online is temporarily closed and the second restaurant listed online isn't here anymore so it's frustrating they won't provide basic info, especially as it is not available online. The do not disturb signs provided don't work with their their current doors so I had to scream "no dont come in" multiple times when I was sick in bed. When I asked at the front desk they were out of the kind that go on the knob. Finally a maintenance guy found one for me, but they should already be in every room. And why keep the ones that have no way of functioning? Just to confuse guests? Also, I'm in an accessible room on the seventh floor and the alarm went off and the only escape route listed says to use only stairs which i obviously cannot. Nobody tried to contact or help me, and no information was provided about what to do in this situation. Finally, the wifi was terrible, always cutting out and giving me trouble loading anything. Despite the actual staff and building being fine, I can't recommend this hotel.

I was put in the old tower, which I don't like staying in. I do stay at the Westmark often and always stay in the new tower. The rooms in the old tower are smaller and cramped. This particular room was hot when I arrived. I called the desk and maintenance came up and said that the thermostat was not working. He turned one side of the heat off and said to open the window (the temperature outside was below zero) and keep the air conditioner on (it was too noisy) if it is too hot. I did open the window for short periods.
