"This hotel is very old, and it smells a little bit in the stairway - because it's old. The room was clean. The lighting wasn't very bright. The bathroom could use a little attention - the caulk around the sink was kind of gunky. But it is a very cool place with lots of character. Oh, and no elevator - but I knew that going in."

"Very nice owner. The hotel advertised a restaurant and bar. It was not available and or closed. It would have been nice to know that. The bed was very comfortable but the room was sparse. The room needed a comfy chair and end table. Beautiful setting. An old building and rough around the edges but enjoyed the stay!"
