"The hotel was comfortable and the staff when we checked in were helpful and nice. It was tipping with rain in the morning, so we ask the man on reception to call a taxi. I asked him 5 mins later how long it would be. He said five ten mins. After another 10mins I asked him if he could check on where it was. Turns out he never called for one and got quite argumentative about it. At this point he was being left in charge of the building, but only just being shown how the fire panel worked. Glad I was leaving at that point."

"Front the minute I arrived it was so refreshing. Staff were chatty and so helpful. The room was spacious, spotless and had the most amazing view. The air conditioning could have been a bit stronger but that was minor. The addition of the fridge in the room was great to keep my drinks cool. So many hotels at this price don't do this. Another minor gripe was the occasional stale/cigarette smell in the lift/corridor areas but inside the room and social areas it was not an issue. I can't rate the staff highly enough and will definitely return."

"The Strathburn Hotel is probably one of the better accommodation options if you are travelling between Aberdeen and Inverness. The property is conveniently located close to the main trunk road, making it an easy stopover, and it appears to be well maintained and cared for. What really stood out during our stay was the quality of the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but Sharon deserves special mention. She was exceptionally informative, approachable, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to assist guests. Her positive attitude made a noticeable difference to our experience. The rooms and facilities were comfortable, and overall we found the hotel to be a pleasant and reliable place to stay. The only minor drawback we noticed was the lack of nearby shops or stores. At least during our visit, we did not come across any within easy walking distance, which could be inconvenient if you need to pick up essentials or snacks without driving. Overall, a very good stay with excellent service, and a hotel we would happily consider again when travelling through the area."

"Had a wonderful stay although room was a bit bland it was spotless & the bed was the comfiest I have ever experienced in a hotel. Restaurant staff apart from one were absolutely delightful & food was delicious. Normally stay at Leonardo in Aberdeen but Station hotel will now be my first choice"
