"An excellent breakfast, staff really helpful. Good location for Ueno station. Terrace was a nice spot to rest, especially for us as our room was tiny and had a view of a concrete staircase. So we probably should have chosen a better room especially for a 6 day stay, but that’s on us!"

The staff was attentive and friendly to go through with us the check in process and we get to know they have same day luggage delivery service provided to the guests, we try the service as we was changing to disneyland hotel and it was efficient and fuss free! "Phenomenal place and people. Great location. Laundry on site. For a jet-lagged family from the states, we literally have no complaints - it was everything we were hoping for. Ueno is a *great* area to stay in, Mimaru makes it entirely too easy. Bunk beds being slightly separated from the other beds gave kids some privacy - charging plugs by each bunk bed was a really nice touch too. No complaints. Exceptional."

This hotel is about an 8-10-minute walk to Sensoji temple and the 24-hour Donki store, and is just outside the kitchen home area. There are Lawson and 711 not too far away, about a 13-minute walk from Tarawachi station on the Ginza line. It is also close to the Skytree. The photo is prominently displayed but there is no information when booking about which rooms have good views. The breakfast area is too small. The atmosphere was horrible. There were signs about congestion at both breakfast and for elevator use at certain times. The coffee and salad both were mediocre. They should open breakfast earlier to reduce congestion.
