"This is an exceptional place, full of character. Thoughtfully appointed, immaculately clean and very quiet and comfortable. Carlo, the proprietor, was wonderful---friendly, very helpful and lots of fun to talk to . He even lugged our bags up to the apartment, which is on the top floor with a terrace and great view. The room was both nicely furnished and large (esp for a European hotel), the bathroom was great, breakfast buffet had lots of great variety, with traditional Spanish, or AngloAmerican, healthy fruits, yogurts,etc. They have a free shuttle from/to airport from (I think) 6:45-10:15. It should be a 3 minute ride but because of highway work (early Feb 2026) it took more like 8 minutes to get there (only 3 min on the shuttle next...

"Had a great couple of days at NH, it was my birthday during my stay and they gave me a slide of cake with a candle during breakfast, was a really touch. Easy to move around and close to the train station. Definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Bologna. "
