"My wife and I booked Hotel Kilkenny. We arrived early and checked in. On a walk my wife tripped and fell needing a trip to the emergency room. The reception staff at the hotel went above and beyond getting everything she needed for the trip to the hospital. When we returned to the hotel, everyone was so kind asking how she was doing. The breakfast was made to order and was excellent. Every member of the staff from front desk, bar, dining and housekeeping were amazing. Our room was...

"Great pub and restaurant and the room above was great. It was clean and amazingly it was very quiet."

"Our stay at Lyrath Estate was a memorable experience, and one of the biggest highlights was undoubtedly the incredible hotel breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the property and how well everything was maintained. The estate has a wonderful atmosphere, combining elegance, charm, and the peaceful surroundings that make it feel like a special place to stay. The grounds and overall appearance of the hotel were beautiful, and it was clear that a great deal of...

"This is a multi-building property and Expedia doesn’t always identify which building you have booked! One is the manor house that you see in the pictures and the other is the stables/hunting lodge"

"Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Gave great city recommendations and helped to arrange any transportation needed"

"Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice."

"Good location clean and nice staff"

"Beautiful setting nestled into the cliff. A lot of the roof of the building was natural which made for a more, naturalist type setting. Taking the Cliff Walk was experience we will never forget, the waves crashing created clouds of mist made us feel like we were in another era. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The room was great. Large and comfortable and very clean. I loved the property, too, I do wish they had secure wi-fi because the signal is not great with the old stone walls"

"The staff & bar/ restaurant were excellent & in a great location, but the room was in desperate need of repair & remodel. The ceiling had mold on it, the shower curtain was too small for the tub & the tub required a bath mat for slippage."
