Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi

"Overall staff was good and breakfast was good. We were really disappointed because they advertise a pool side “cave bar” on their listing and we weren’t informed that it would be closed for the season. This was a huge reason we booked this hotel and I wish we would’ve been made aware that this would t be available. The rooms didn’t include basic amenities such as hair conditioner and body lotion - which i thought was odd because many people rely on these types of products to be at their hotel when traveling. The shuttle to and from amalfi central are very convenient, but fill up so fast you have to know your plans 24 hours in advance within a 30 minute time window and book them all at least the day before to guarantee a spot during popular hours (morning, lunch, and dinner). The hotel restaurant was also very meh for the price - you’re basically paying for the convenience of eating in your hotel with a nice view. The menu is limited and the food was not very good. Overall - the views of Amalfi are absolutely incredible and if the things mentioned above aren’t important, this hotel is great! Just not the best experience for us personally."

"We booked this hotel for our 1 year wedding anniversary and so glad we chose Hotel Bellevue. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed but the best part by far was the staff. Everyone from the hotel manager to the housekeepers were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was ever too much. We were made to feel like family and they ensured our stay was everything we could have dreamed of."

"the hotel was modern and very clean, the room was outstanding with King size bed for my wife and I and a day bed for my son separated by a half wall complete with a walk in shower and a great balcony over looking the sea, and the town of Positano. the rooftop pool is huge with a bar and spectacular views. the free breakfast was a must have and very fresh the restaurant on site is really good one of the best restaurants in the area the location is right in the middle between Positano and Amalfi in beautiful Praiano the owner Carmella was seen daily at the hotel greeting guests. the town offers many restaurants and a couple of small grocery stores much quieter than the other surrounding towns. you can catch the Sita bus just up the street to visit other locations visiting the beach will require walking down about 400 steps how ever you will run into a small cafe over looking the sea call Mirante about quarter way down "great place for drinks""
Villa Piedimonte

"Great pool, breakfast and staff. Staff were very responsive prior to our visit and helped book a dinner reservation for my partner’s birthday. They also delivered cake to our table at breakfast that morning without asking. Absolutely incredible view! Perhaps one of the best in Ravello. Pool area does get covered by shade late afternoon/early evening. Room was a little shabby, towels very thin so had to be changed daily, and toiletries provided were adequate only."
