The Sonesta was a pleasant surprise for us. It had so many amenities; more than we actually needed for this trip. However, we will remember it again for future trips to Irvine.

Location is clean and quiet. Room was small, layout is cramped. Small bed. They said it was a queen, it wasn’t. And that’s the only bed size they offer in all there rooms. The AC was very loud and inefficient. Couldn’t get the room to a comfortable stable temperature, and the AC would blast very loudly on and off. So loud that you couldn’t listen to the TV. Also, TV - Hotel only provide non-subscription viewing. No HBO, etc…. I won’t stay there again.
