"A nice, clean comfortable place to stay in town within walking distance from the marina etc. Tammy and her staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nice upstairs porch where you can relax and look at the water. The breakfast was good and it was nice that they provided bottled water, room in the refrigerator and beach towels. "This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. Be aware that you are in the jungle with jungle noises at night and no walls. After the first night, we got used to the sounds and actually found them soothing. From the cocao tea and muffins at your door before you wake, to the incredible sunsets from the dining room, it is an excellentexperience. I'm sad we had to leave. "

"Great staff. Nice room. Great beach. Bring insect repellent! It's a bit of a hike from the pier to the room, so call ahead and they will help with your luggage."
